DIRECTION

SUZANNE is LORENZ JACK CHAILLAT-CAVAILLÉ, art historian and curator, specialized in gender and masculinism studies by the contemporary art prism. Between 2014 and 2018 he participated as a performer with choreographers and visual artists like Liz Santoro, Boris Charmatz, Olivier Dubois, Célia Gondol… His multiple experiences with Tatiana Julien (« Dancing Museums », « La mort et l’extase ») and Tino Seghal (Carte Blanche at the Palais de Tokyo) have confirmed his will to co-found his own dance company : SUZANNE.

SUZANNE is JULIEN CHAUDET, trained at the Laboratoire de Formation au Théâtre Physique (LFTP), is an actor, performer, dancer and video director. His fulfilling artistic practice goes from actor/creator in committed projects and works as a performer on stage (Théâtre du Balèti, Compagnie Ricci/forte, Angelica Liddell) as well as on cinema (Amor Hakkar, JP Bouix) or in dance studios (Olivier Dubois). Since 2017 he is the artistic director of the music project MOLPE.

SUZANNE is EURYDICE GOUGEON-MARINE, graduated from Ecole du Louvre (Art History) and performer. She received training in different conservatories in ballet, contemporary and jazz dance, and also in music (piano). After a research master on Cambodian sculpture, Eurydice goes back to dance in co-founding SUZANNE. She also acts as a performer for other choreographers (Olivier Dubois, 2017) and visual artists (Nefeli Papadimouli ; YGRG-Young Girl Reading Group, 2019).

SUZANNE is JULIEN DERANSY, graduated from Architecture in Paris, he decides to orient his practice towards visual arts. In 2016, he explores and explodes his knowledge of architecture for the benefit of the creation of objects whose meaning and production completely disinterested him. Since his collaboration with Tino Sehgal, he directs his practice in an unexpected way but quite logical towards dance that he considers being “the first architecture”.

PERFORMERS

SUZANNE is MELINA FERNÉ, trained in l’Ecole Jacques Lecoq, actress, director, author and scriptwriter. She is also graduated from EHESS (l’Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales), where she explores the question of the sensitive experience of the viewer « vis- à-vis » the work that is given him to see. Between theater and cinema, she makes a few steps towards dance, notably with Nina Dipla.

SUZANNE is ÉVA STUDZINSKI, actress trained at the Atelier International de Théâtre Blanche Salant & Paul Weaver. Graduated from La Sorbonne Nouvelle with a degree in Cinema-Audiovisual, she is also trained in video editing and makes meditative and reinterpreting movies. She also led theater workshops in Latin America (Iquitos, Peru, South Bogota, Colombia). Today she is mainly devoted to theater and dance.

SUZANNE is ANNE QUADERI, trained in contemporary dance at the CRR (regional academy of arts) in Aix en Provence and at the Aix Studio Ballet and finally at the Paris International Encounters of Contemporary Dance. She incessantly thrives on encounters and takes part in numerous choreographic projects, shows and performances. She is a performer for choreographers and directors like Sebastien Ly, Mélanie Perrier, Karine Saporta… She meets SUZANNE in 2018 as they share together the same love for moving art, dance and moving bodies.

SUZANNE is MARINA SANGRÀ, trained as a contemporary dancer at Studio Harmonic and as an actress in Laboratoire de Formation au Théâtre Physique (LFTP), she performs, dances, and has launched her music project MOLPÉ. She also has a degree as a therapist in sophro-analysis … for happiness.

SUZANNE is CAMILLE VOYENNE, actor trained at the Laboratoire de Formation au Théâtre Physique (LFTP, 2009-2011). After his training he takes part in the creation of the Théâtre du Balèti in which he creates two shows and an art performance that will be performed in France and Europe. In 2015 his theater friends and him created Champ Libre collective in order to organise a yearly festival in the Limousin focused on the emerging artistic creation. With this collective he works on performances and on reinventing places for theater shows.

SUZANNE is JULIA LEBLANC LACOSTE, she grew up in the dance world with her mother-in-law dancer and dance teacher. She believes to thrive in finding her place within theater practice and later choses naturally an in-depth comedian training focused on organicity at Laboratoire de Formation au Théâtre Physique (LFTP), where the gesture becomes words. She now places the body at the heart of the construction of her different parts.

SUZANNE is GRÉGOIRE FRANÇOIS, graduated from l’Académie Royale des Beaux Arts de Bruxelles in illustration and comic strip as well as at the Conservatoire de Théâtre de Schaerbeek , he moved to Paris to explore different ways of expressing creation itself. He naturally chose dance as the main field of expression, working notably with Oliver Dubois. He is also an actor.

SUZANNE is TOM BOYAVAL, a performer and author. He debuted in the show « Femmes de Paroles » and then during the tour of « Fauves ». He pursuited a training in LFTP and ESCA drama schools. In 2018 he is part of « talents Adami » and works with Joris Lacoste. He also experiences camera work with Thibault Renzi in « Bon enfant » and documentary films while co-directing « Le jour du printemps » with Raphaëlle Bessette. In 2020 it is through autobiographical work that he creates a one man show « Et dans l’esprit des autres… » where he addresses his relationship to identity in the world as transgender person.

SUZANNE est JEAN DELAHAYE, graduated from Ecole Supérieure d’Art de Nancy with a DNSEP in the Nouveau Département. He defines himself firstly as a graphic designer but his eyes and legs lead him towards a multidisciplinary practice that he is totally comfortable with. He takes part in the existence of the Wonder Liebert as a living artistic place. He is also a photographic model for romantic landscapes. In search of multiple experiences, he finds in SUZANNE a quest for the impossible interested in dance as a football player.

SUZANNE is MÉLISSA LALANNE, graduated in architecture, Mélissa elaborated her degree presentation around time and fiction in the architectural process. She intends to develop those notions of space and body through other vectors as the cinema. Passionate about dance, which she practiced in high-level classical training, SUZANNE is for her the perfect link between reality and fiction, two areas between which she never knew how to choose…

TECHNICIANS

SUZANNE is ROMAIN POIRIER, Sound designer and composer, Romain creates original music compositions for documentaries and fiction movies. In 2014, he co-founds the Mer-Noir Studios allowing him to deepen his researches and assuring him a free and radical creation process to produce music. He works alongside artists, film makers and musicians through the production of artworks and performances, and he develops projects like the extreme noise music band Uzhur or the radiophonic collective Scalarstation.

SUZANNE is JÉRÔME BAUDOUIN, light designer and general director. After a brief career in the car industry, Jérôme plays in different music bands. He discovers stage lightning during a workshop given in the Théâtre des Quartiers and then trains at the CFPTS “light design, writing and management” guided by Dominique Mabileau. Since then, Jérôme works with different compagnies on tour (theater, performance, dance, circus) and realises some light design for choreographers, theaters, classical music concerts and artistic events like Nuit Blanche.

SUZANNE is MATHIAS ELICHABEHERE, trained guitarist from Pays Basque raised in Bordeaux and lives now in Paris where he composes music for videos (particularly skate videos) for ten years. The stimulus came when his friend Sylvain Robineau dragged out of him a song to end his short film  « Sabine ». Matias then starts to put his sweet voice on his compositions. His first record « Nuées » is released in 2019 under the stage name Matias Enaut. After having written material for theater and experimental video projects, he finally meets SUZANNE.

SUZANNE is ANTOINE GREDAI, author, director and photographer graduated from the ESEC and Paris VIII University. While he’s working for the cinematographic industry, he also directs videos for SUZANNE and street-artists like COMBO CK and RADAK. For 2020, Antoine is working on his personal photography exhibition OCCIDENT and the production of his short-movie BURN-IN.

SUZANNE is ALEXIS GUYOT, Hade of Data Science, graduated from l’Ecole Centrale de Paris. He worked as a data scientist in many industries specialised in energetic and smart-electric networks and then in financial services. Today he is Head of Data Science in the Wewyse company. His first motivation in his job is to use this data sciences as a tool to protect social rights.

SUZANNE is ANAÏS SCHNEIDER, Coming from a background in art history and visual arts, she is now a visual arts teacher and visual artist. Among other things, she carries out commissions for the artistic press, and recently covered a subject on Christo and Jeanne Claude during the packaging of the Arc de Triomphe. Anaïs’ practice also serves as a testimony to the performance, notably immortalizing Suzanne’s steps.
